23rd Annual Asics Munciana Classic - Junior Volleyball Tournament
On May 31st-June 1st NonStop Volleyball attended the Asics Munciana Classic. 162 teams from across the midwest participated in the event in Munciana, Indiana. Just a few of the states that stopped by the NonStop Volleyball booth included Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky and Missouri. Teams were assigned by divisions, open or club, which ranged in ages from 12-18 years old. The tournament games took place in many diffent locations including Irving Gymnasium, Worthen Arena, and Ball Gym at Ball State University. Many local schools also hosted including Central High School, Wilson Middle School, Northside Middle School, Wapahani High School, Selma Middle School, and Selma Elementary School.
While representing Mikasa during the event, NonStop Volleyball gave away two 2008 Olympic Beach Volleyballs signed by the number one women's beach volleyball player in the world Misty May-Treanor. Two winners were randomly chosen. The winners of the autographed volleyballs were Alexis Stamper of RAC Attack from Centerville, Indiana and Sarah Ressler of Dead Frog Green Team from Battle Creek, Michigan.
